Here are some suggestions of ways you can help but please contact AMUR to discuss any ideas you have and we will be glad to work with you.

 

Send us your old MOBILE PHONES !   Do your good deed for recycle week   Did you know that from June 22nd until 28th it is officially UK recycle week? Why not celebrate it and do a good deed by donating your old mobile phone to AMUR to raise valuable funds and help us achieve our objectives.   For every phone donated AMUR will receive the market value of the phone. By recycling your phone not only will you be helping charity, but you’ll also be helping our environment by safely disposing your old mobile phones to our recycling partner ShP Solutions. What to do next: Simply dig out your old mobile phones and put them into a jiffy bag along with a slip stating which charity you support and your contact details if you want further information. Send the package FREEPOST to ‘FREEPOST ShP Solutions Lancaster’ All phones are processed and AMUR receives a cheque   Plus, if you have 10 or more handsets we’ll even offer to collect them free of charge. Simply contact Richard Bowden on richard.bowden@shpforcharity.co.uk or 07956338669 and we’ll collect your old phone by courier. Do something good for recycle week – donate your phone! Fund Raising Why not organize an event to raise money (and hopefully awareness) for the conservation programme? There are a whole variety of things you can do but here are some examples of what people have done to help AMUR. SPONSORED WALKS, CLIMBS or DRIVES, TABLE TOP SALES!!!!  The list is endless!      Christopher Bond climbed Mount Elbrus, Europe's highest mountain to to raise money for AMUR - August 2007 Emily Weymouth and friends raised money for AMUR by holding a table top sale.   SCHOOL AND CHILDREN'S EVENTS Organise an educational event at your school or even a themed children's party to raise money.  AMUR is able to provide literature and some prizes for fund raising events at schools.

 

 

Show your support for Amur leopards - with photos! We need to show the people who live near to the Amur leopards that the whole world cares about these animals.  We are currently encouraging TV and Radio in the Russian Far East to show clips and photos of people all around the world demonstrating they care about the Amur leopard (and tigers too) and it will demonstrate to villagers that the Amur leopard is worth protecting.  So you can help by taking photos doing something to publicise the plight of the Amur leopard. You can use this logo to put onto a whole variety of media and then send photos to us.  Some examples are; paint it on the side of an old car in a rally, put it on T Shirts when you are doing a sponsored run, put it on a flag and carry it if you are climbing a hill.... the ideas are numerous!  Think up a crazy one!
